Opioid Overdose Prevention
Opioid overdoses have reached epidemic proportions in the United States. Fentanyl is an extremely potent synthetic opioid. It only takes a tiny amount of fentanyl to cause a fatal overdose – a fraction of a rain drop or three drops of salt.
Suicide Prevention
Suicide is a significant public health concern, and it's on the rise. Youths, Veterans, the LGBTQ+ community, and people experiencing mental illness are especially at risk. Understanding facts about suicide is crucial to save lives.
Combatting Bullying
Bullying and cyberbullying can have severe consequences for victims. They may experience emotional and psychological distress, including anxiety, depression, and even suicidal thoughts. About 37% of young people have reported being bullied.
Mental Health Awareness
Mental illness is common, with approximately 1 in 5 adults in the U.S. experiencing some form of mental illness. Stigma remains a significant barrier to treatment, and there is a significant treatment gap because many individuals don’t get the treatment they need.
